Glean, an AI search startup founded by ex-Google and Meta folks, just raised $150M to supercharge enterprise work.
🚨 Breaking News:
Glean’s valuation jumped to $7.2B after raising $150M — and it's now helping enterprises become way more AI-savvy.
⚡ Wire Simplified:
Glean builds AI-powered enterprise search tools for apps like Slack, Salesforce, and Google Workspace.
Its revenue just crossed $100M in less than 3 years — that’s FAST.
New Glean Agents can handle a billion tasks by end of year (yes, billion with a B).
They’re expanding globally and teaming up with Databricks, Snowflake, and Palo Alto Networks.
Big VCs like Sequoia, Wellington, and Khosla joined the party.
✔️ Straight to the Point:
Glean is zooming ahead in AI for work. With fresh funding, they’re doubling down before the Googles and Microsofts catch up.

Google is offering buyouts to U.S. employees in search, ads, and marketing — another move in its ongoing cost shuffle.
🚨 Breaking News:
Employees in Google’s core units like search and ads are being offered a voluntary exit package to cut costs and reshape teams.
⚡ Wire Simplified:
Google’s K&I division (which runs search + ads) is offering buyouts to some U.S.-based employees.
If you’re not jazzed about AI, the memo suggests you might want to “consider leaving.” Yikes.
Office returns are now mandatory for remote workers within 50 miles.
The move helps fund AI infrastructure spending planned for 2025.
Internal training is shifting focus — from “nice-to-have” to “how to use AI tools like a pro.”
✔️ Straight to the Point:
Google’s trimming teams again — cutting where needed to go full steam on AI. It’s adapt or (softly) exit time.

Meta taking a 49% stake in Scale AI for $14.8B, investors and employees get paid.
Meta prob wanted to acquire them but didn’t want to go through regulatory approval so found this roundabout scheme.
